Rethinking Success

I’ve been rethinking the concept of success.

For me, success has often been measured by a calendar date, a number, or a bottom line. But I’m starting to think it shouldn’t be measured in any of these ways.

As I get older, I’m learning that a better measure of success is incremental growth – being a little bit better than the previous day, week, or year.

Small changes and habits add up, and little by little we become better versions of ourselves.

That feels more like a success than any extrinsic goal I’ve achieved.
